One of the most interesting things I learned was about the different parts of the tongue and how the taste buds detect different tastes like sour, sweet, bitter and salty.
I find it really strange that there are different sides of the tongue that can detect the different types of tastes, so in order to better understand this I looked up the following video that illustrates out taste buds in .
